After I lost my son Grayson, my mailbox was flooded with cards and letters from my closest friends and family and from people who didn’t even know me. I can’t tell you how much each and every one of those pieces of mail touched me. To know that complete strangers had taken the time to send me a card completely floored me.
Whenever I hear of a loss, I always make it a point to reach out to the family that is affected. Whether I know them or not, I make the effort to connect with them in some way. With every card I write, call I make, meal I prepare for the grieving family I am doing it in rememberance of my sweet boy. That’s how I keep the legacy of Grayson alive. How will you keep the legacy of your little one alive?
